After covering a German sled dog race two years earlier, we decided to document the biggest European sled dog race in early 2024: The Finnmarkslopet, a 1200-kilometer race through the Norwegian Arctic Regions, making it one of the toughest in the world.

We focused on Tom Frode Johannsen, a legend among sled dog handlers, as the main character. We visited him at his home and accompanied him through the race. This project is currently still in post-production, therefore the video linked above is just a project teaser created to get the project greenlit.
